Guests are invited to visit during this 2 week string camp to see first hand how music education makes a difference in the live of children in our area! This highly successful 7 year program in Boca Raton, Florida, will host 80 – 100 string from Title 1 Palm Beach County Public Schools for two weeks on the Lynn University campus. The life changing experience provides elementary school students an opportunity to receive the highest quality instruction from Lynn University graduate and undergraduate students serving as mentors. Students will receive individual, small group and large ensemble instruction and will follow a rigorous schedule of rehearsals, coaching and masterclasses. Curriculum incorporates the education plans of the school district and university in a cohesive mix that provides an innovative learning environment that propels students to engage with their mentors, become more passionate about their musical abilities and achieve a higher level of character and leadership excellence.
